Khurmal is a town in South Kurdistan, located in Halabja province, 70 kilometers east of Sulaimani. It is located in the Sharazoor plain near Hawramabad. Khurmal district is one of the districts of Halabja province in Iraq. As of 2010, the population was 18,628 .
